Holiday experiences 2 Years, 4 Months ago
My family have had wonderful holidays for the last 3 years at Apollo Bay in Victoria.
We have stayed at Apollo Bay Beach House which is a pet friendly totally luxurious house with beautiful views of the ocean and Apollo Bay township.
It is a two story house that can be shared between two families or like us, with the kids and dog downstairs in their own apartment and my husband and myself upstairs !!!.
The town is only a two block walk away and Apollo Bay still has the wonderful seaside town atmosphere a lot of other places on the Great Ocean Road have lost.
Pepper our schnoodle just loves her corner upstairs and as soon as her basket hits the floor, you can just see her smile and relax. The beach is just across the road and its only a walk to the end of the street and over the main road to get there. It is heaven on earth and we just love to go down there to recharge and relax.

Thanks schnoodlemum for sharing your holiday experience.

I hope that your endorsement brings them more happy guests (but that they still have space for you when you next want to holiday with them).

I have just had the easter holidays on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. I stayed at a place called "Clan Ranald" who were pet friendly, had ample room, allowed dogs inside and had a fenced off area behind the units for dogs which included a really nice kennel and running area. They are also really cheap to stay at! Give them a go!

It's always a bonus when you find somewhere that's suitable AND affordable!
