I'm letting anyone who has used the DIY dog wash at Castle Hill know that it has, sadly, closed. It was in Hoyle Ave.
I get my Labradoodle princess clipped professionally about 3 times a year, however I prefer to hydrobath her myself.
Now I am taking my dog to a DIY dog wash which is coin operated at Vinyard or McGraths Hill, located within a car wash site... directions are:
Drive West along Windsor Road past McDonalds and turn left immediately after Hungry Jacks. Hungry Jacks is on the corner you turn at. Then, turn first right, and then right again just next to the Marine boating shop to enter the car wash... and the DIY dog wash is just there. There is a fenced pen and it is a stainless steel unit. It's great - good hot water, shampoo & conditioner supplied and costs $ 10.00 with $ 2 and $ 1 coins. It has a blow-dryer also. It's open 24 hours 7 days per week, which is handy.
If anyone knows of other DIY dog washes in Sydney, please let me know.
